Recycling Bin

Recycling bins are provided for household recycling. Your Recycling bin will have a yellow lid and is collected fortnightly, from the roadside outside your home.

The maximum weight limit is 70kg.

Recyclable materials:

	✅ Paper (unbundled; newspaper, magazines, etc)
	✅ Cardboard (unwaxed)
	✅ Aluminium and steel cans
	✅ Shampoo bottles (codes 1 and 2)
	✅ Plastic milk bottles (code 2)
	✅ Plastic soft drink bottles (codes 1 and 2)
	✅ Containers with the 1, 2, & 5 codes
	✅ Orange Bag, soft plastics

Non-recyclable materials broadly include the following:

	❌ Household garbage
	❌ Garden waste
	❌ Window glass and broken glass
	❌ Polystyrene
	❌ Plastic bags
	❌ Toys, household plastics
	❌ Long life containers (UHT), waxed milk and juice cartons
	❌ Building materials, soil, brick, etc.
