Garden waste, including lawn clippings, prunings, small sticks, twigs, flowers and leaves can be placed into the green garden organic bin or taken directly to the transfer station. The garden organics collected by Council is processed and repurposed as capping for old landfill sites reducing greenhouse gas liability, or used around community areas for weed reduction.
Note: large stumps and branches must be taken to the transfer station unless they can be cut into smaller pieces before being placed into the green garden organic bin.
