Blankets, bedding and towels in useable condition can be donated to a local charity or reuse centre, check with your local vets or animal welfare centres to see if they accept blankets.
Unusable bedding can be placed in the red landfill bin. Bagging these bulky items reduces the risk of a jammed bin and partial empty.
